Day 1: Wednesday, September 30
Drive: Savannah to 124 Broad Street, Alexander City, AL (5.5 hours) Lunch is on your own.
2:00 PM: Self-guided tour at Wellborn Musclecar Museum Mopar Collection ($15/person, pay at the museum).
Evening: Drive 1.5 hours to Hotel Finial (600 Quintard Ave, Anniston, AL) for a 7:00 PM club dinner (included in your trip total) and cash bar provided by the Hotel.
Day 2: Thursday, October 1
Morning: Hot breakfast buffet at the hotel. Drive 1 hour to Odenville - 49 Forman Farm Rd, Odenville, AL.
10:00 AM: Guided tour of the Mustang Museum of America ($10/person, pay at the museum). Lunch is on your own.
1:30 PM: Self-guided tour at Barber Motorsports Park and Museum, 6040 Barber Motorsports Pkwy, Leeds, AL ($19.80/person, pay at the museum). We will also watch a live Porsche track event!
Evening: 7:00 PM club dinner back at Hotel Finial (included in total) and cash bar provided by Hotel.
Day 3: Friday, October 2
Morning: Hot breakfast buffet at the hotel. Drive 30 minutes to 3366 Speedway Blvd, Lincoln, AL.
9:00 AM: Self-guided tour at Talladega Superspeedway ($10–$12/person, pay at the museum).
Track Driving Opportunity: We can potentially drive our own cars on the Talladega track (depending on interest)! The track requires a $2,000 minimum fee, which we will split evenly among interested members (e.g., $100 each if 20 sign up; $200 each if 10 sign up). Afternoon: Return drive to Savannah (5.5 hours).
